Bickle Insurance Services Acquires Mears Insurance Agency in Franklin, OH

Franklin, OH – Bickle Insurance is proud to announce the acquisition of Mears Insurance Agency, a trusted name in Franklin since 1974. Founded by the late James “Jimmy” Mears, the agency has been a cornerstone of the community for over 50 years. Jimmy Mears, beloved by many, passed away in May 2023. His son, Shane Mears, has been a Partner since 1991 and has maintained the agency’s reputation for personalized service and community involvement.
The Mears Insurance office will continue to operate with the same familiar faces and the same strong commitment to its clients. The staff, many of whom have been with the agency for years, will remain dedicated to providing the same high level of service the community has come to trust.
Shane Mears shared his thoughts on the transition, saying, “When my father started this agency, he built it on trust and relationships, and I’m confident that Bickle Insurance will carry that legacy forward.
